Dorms for My Cheap Friends
In addition to the block of reserved hotel rooms, there is space at Folklore Village for a little slumber party for 25 of our closest friends on the night of the wedding. There are two buildings with twin beds and open floor plans. It's like camp, only without the tears of homesickness. This space is especially well suited for the young'ns who like to stay up past 10pm and would like to save some dough. (And you won't have to worry about a designated driver. Sweet!) It would cost something like $10 a person to sleep there. There are showers on site. (2 for the ladies, 2 for the gents. And you need to bring your quarters. We are talking rustic, people!) The catch: YOU NEED TO TELL US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. We have to reserve the space as part of the rental contract, and we won't do it unless there are enough people who would like to spend the night. You can camp out there, too, so if we have too many interested parties, we'll start assigning people to tents. So if you want in, email us at jennhuck (at) gmail (dot) com.

Ten (10) non-smoking, double queen rooms (accommodate 4 per room) have been set aside under SLEZ-HUCK WEDDING for a reduced rate of $95 per night for Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE NOT LATER THAN MAY 30, 2008. Guests may use all the amenities located at House on the Rock Inn. The North Lodge is an older building than House on the Rock Inn (Main Lodge). Same staff as at the Main Lodge.

Standard room rate is $79.95 per night. AARP members get 10% discount on standard room rate. See website for “specialty room” rates, approximately $199 to $225 per night, and hotel amenities. Igloo-themed rooms, among other themes. Variously described as “funky,” “quirky,” and “whimsical.” Big plane out front. A must see.

Indoor/outdoor pool. Attractive rooms, all decor typical “Wisconsin country.” Check out website for all amenities and reservation info. Per night room rates approximately $99 to $140.
